Training provided by Upper Cape Tech
The UCT Martha’s Vineyard Electrical Program, funded by MassCEC, provides full scholarship for eligible program participants including classes, materials, and certification upon completion of program for first-year only.
This 4 year program consists of 600 hours of classroom instruction for electrical apprentices pursuing a career towards obtaining their journeyman’s electrical license. It prepares and meets the requirements for the students to be eligible to take their Massachusetts Journeyman State Exam.
Full tuition covered, including:
- Code & Theory Lectures
- Text Books and code book
- Shop Hours
- Certificate of Electrical Level 1
- OSHA 10 Certificate where applicable
Student requirements:
- Must be 18+ yrs old
- Must have drivers license
- Must be unemployed or underemployed
- Must have GED or high school diploma
Program begins Fall 2024.
