Student Spotlight: Ian Tripp

This spring, Ian Tripp completed his first year in ACE MV’s Electrical program. Already working in the field, Ian saw the program as an opportunity to deepen his technical knowledge and gain the training needed to continue advancing his career. With support from ACE MV throughout the enrollment process, taking the next step was an easy decision.

“ACE MV supported me throughout the sign-up process, making the decision to enroll an easy one.”

Ian is already applying what he’s learns in the classroom directly to his work. From electrical theory and code to load calculations, conduit work, and the use of specialized tools, the program has strengthened both his knowledge and confidence on the job.

“I’ve learned about both electrical theory and electrical code in ways that I could immediately apply to my work, which really improved my confidence and helped me see a happy future in electrical contracting.”

Looking ahead, Ian plans to continue on the path toward earning his Journeyman’s and eventually his Master’s license. He hopes to continue growing with the company he works for while building his skills and supporting the Martha’s Vineyard community through his trade.

Congratulations on completing the first year of the program, Ian! We’re excited to support you as you continue your journey in the skilled trades.
