Learn Spanish with a native Spanish speaker. This class is focused on creating a safe environment that encourages students to feel confident in speaking Spanish (It's ok to make mistakes!) This class includes vocabulary, basic conversations skills and learning about Hispanic culture.

You will learn:

  1. Spanish pronunciation

  2. Basic vocabulary (numbers, days of the week, family, physical descriptions)

  3. Basic conversation skills

  4. Aspects of Spanish culture and diversity (food, holidays, music, traditions, etc

    ....and more!


This class is intended for beginners. 


About the Instructor:

Lorena Crespo is a native Spanish speaker originally from Ecuador. She has a Master's Degree in Education in Curriculum and Teaching and is a certified ESL instructor. She works as an ESL teacher at the Edgartown School, and offers Spanish and English tutoring. Lorena is a 2017 Vision Fellow & teaches Latin dance classes on the side!
